cookie!
i was first introduced to the series by my friends in ~2014.
here is a little info on me and my relationship with the series.

i started with the LINE game (aka a ported version of CRKakao) and that has continued to be my favorite version of the game.
dark choco has continued to be one of my favorite characters in the series. i remember grinding to lv 37 in order to get him...i was so happy when i could.

a little after LINE (and especially after it shut down) i played ovenbreak. i would play it on and off for some years.
i had a lot of fun with it as well, but stopped playing around 2018-19 when the game started to become more competitive.
i find myself unable to pick it up again due to the sheer amount of new systems and cookies and lore were put in place...unfortunately, i am not a fan of how bloated the series has become. i feel like a gen wunner but for cookie run.

i picked this up on release, and initially i was suuuper excited about it! crob was unusable for me at this point, and i was looking forward to a cookie run game that was actually lore focused! (i even bought the art book!) i only played it for around a month before dropping it, though...i got stuck on crispia 8-30. and i also really did not like gacha games.
as of march 2025 i picked up the game again, mostly due to seeing it on my social media feeds and getting curious about what the hell was happening. safe to say, ummm.....a lot!
i can't say i'm fully invested in the lore - i think something in me just prefers the simplicity of ye olde days - but i have been giving attention to the cacao kingdom and beast yeast stuff. i'm not really a fan of how complicated the cookies designs are (same goes for ovenbreak), but through exposure there ARE some new cookies that i like.
